Dr. Heather Louks is a Doctor of Chinese medicine with a specialization in herbal medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbologist, and Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. She received her Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University, and her Doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Sciences. Her doctoral studies included a focus on women’s health, autoimmune diseases, and pain management. With over 6 years of experience with the Cancer Patient Community, she has a strong commitment to holistic well-being, utilizing a range of modalities such as acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxibustion, and sound therapy. A certified Yoga instructor, Reiki Master, and Sound Healer, she is recognized for her innovative approach to patient care and dedication to continuous learning and development in the field of women’s fertility, mental health, orthopedic conditions, pain management, and autoimmune conditions. She is most passionate about the spiritual and mental benefits of acupuncture in supporting patients on their healing journeys. She was introduced to the medicine through her own healing journey of hormonal balance and digestive issues and is beyond grateful to be able to offer this medicine to others on their paths to wellness.
